Meet Our Doulas

Each laboring woman and family are so unique in how they choose to give birth. What's important to you, your goals, your beliefs, and many other things play a huge role in what that vision looks like to you.  The birth of your baby is so much more than just a "healthy mom and healthy baby", it's about supporting the whole person and "How will you remember this experience?" You deserve to leave your birth feeling empowered and supported and having made beautiful memories of your birth. Ones that bring your family closer together.

We are ready to serve you!

JoLynne Polichette,

Owner, Birth Doula & Childbirth Educator

Hi, my name is JoLynne, but most of my friends call me Joey. I am a certified DONA  birth doula and Lamaze childbirth educator, an Evidence Based Birth Instructor, and a volunteer with the Kentucky Birth Coalition.

I have been a doula for five years and have supported many families, in many settings, through many birth experiences. I have even had 3 very different birth experiences with my own children (cesarean, VBAC, and homebirth). Through all of this, I have found that even if birth throws curve-balls, parents deserve to be supported, know their options, and have their voices matter how they choose to give birth. YOU have the power to do this!

In my "off-season" you can find me kayaking with my husband, adventuring with my boys, or jamming to a good playlist while working on our fixer-upper, forever home.

Tori Clark

DONA Trained Birth Doula

Hi, I'm Tori!  I am a DONA trained birth doula, a wife, mama, daughter and friend.  I live in Murray with my husband Jeriel, daughter Lena, and our two kitties.

Through my own birth experience, I realized the importance of knowing my options, feeling educated in my decisions, and being empowered as a birthing person entering the new journey of parenthood.

As a doula, my main goal is to provide unbiased support and evidence-based resources and help my clients feel confident and empowered in their decisions regarding their personal birth experience. I believe that all birthing people (and their partners) deserve an educated, empowering, and transforming birth experience.

When I'm not doula-ing, I am serving as the office manager at a local church, exploring outside with my family, or spending time with friends.

Catherine Bixler

DONA Trained Birth Doula

Hi, I’m Cassie Bixler, my husband Caleb and I have 5 kids. We moved to Murray in August of 2018 from Austin, TX.

After having an amazing Doula and Midwife support me during the birth of my youngest, I knew I wanted to be able to support mothers and their partners; so that they too could have an empowering birth experience.

When I’m not helping at births you will find me serving at church, playing softball, or at one of my kid's sporting events.

We are excited and ready to support you and your family as you welcome a new blessing into your home.

The first step is to contact us to schedule your free consultation with one of our doulas.

Our mission is to help families start off on the best foot possible by providing superior support through Doula Services, high-quality childbirth education classes, and helping them get connected to community resources; bettering birth in the Purchase Area is our business foundation.
