JoLynne Polichette,

Owner, Birth Doula & Childbirth Educator

Hi, my name is JoLynne, but most of my friends call me Joey.

I have been a doula for five years and have supported many families through many various birth settings and experiences. I have had three very different birth experiences with my own children and have given birth via cesarean, VBAC, and homebirth. My belief is that you deserve to be supported, know your options, and have your voice matter how you choose to give birth. YOU have the power to do this!

I am a DONA certified  birth doula, Lamaze certified childbirth educator, and an Evidence Based Birth® Instructor. I also volunteer with both the Kentucky Birth Coalition and DONA International, and work hard to advocate for better maternal health in Frankfort and beyond.

In my "off-season" you can find me kayaking with my husband, adventuring with my boys, or jamming to a good playlist while gardening and working on our fixer-upper/forever home. I hope we get to work together and plan your awesome birth.

Cassie Bixler

DONA Trained Birth Doula

Hi, I’m Cassie Bixler, my husband Caleb and I have 5 kids. We moved to Murray in August of 2018 from Austin, TX where I had the privilege of being surrounded by a very progressive birth movement.

After having such a traumatic labor and delivery with my oldest, I decided that when I became pregnant with my son I was going to do things differently. I then went on to have an unmedicated hospital birth with a midwife, and two birth center births with midwives and a doula. After having my own empowering birth experiences, I knew I wanted to be able to support mothers and their partners; so that they too could have an empowering birth experience.

When I’m not helping at births you will find me serving at church, playing softball, or at one of my kid's sporting events. I truly love serving my community and the families in it.

As a Full-Spectrum Doula I provide support for birth, postpartum, and reproductive health (cycle awareness/hormones/fertility). I truly love being able to follow my clients through their entire journey!

My work as a doula is centered around empowerment, trust, and building community. I will provide you and your partner with the information, education, and support you need to make your own informed decisions, as well as advocate for your voice to be heard.

Some of my hobbies are being outside, drinking coffee, learning about alternative medicine, and cooking!

Sometimes we just need to pick someone's brain about something. A professional that knows their stuff and someone that has given birth before. Having a companion that is truly knowledgeable about birth is incredibly valuable and can help reduce your fears and anxiety.

We offer one-hour private consults to help you with whatever you may need. We can help you create a birth plan, find your options in your local hospital, or just talk about anything you need to help you prepare for your birth.
