is a solo practitioner who provides doula support, childbirth education, breastfeeding support, and placenta encapsulation to the families of Western Kentucky and Northwest Tennessee. She also provides continuing education opportunities to other birth professionals to help advance maternal health in and around her community. JoLynne has been trained by nationally accredited programs such as DONA International (Doulas Of North America), and Lamaze International, and has also joined the professional ranks of Evidence Based Birth® Instructors. She has a passion for evidence based care and helping families advocate for themselves to make sure that their voice is heard in the birth room no matter what their birth choices are.
"I am incredibly passionate about supporting the families in Western Kentucky however that may look. My goal is that no matter how a woman chooses to give birth, she does so feeling respected, informed, and confident. It is sacred and humbling work to be with a woman and her team in her most powerful moment. We are not only witnessing the birth of babies, but the birth of parents. It's amazing to see life take it's first breath into our world."

Outside of her professional life, JoLynne is a wife and homeschooling mother of three boys, seven and under. If she's not at a birth, teaching a class, or advocating for maternal health at the local or state level; you will most likely find her on the t-ball field, at the lake with her boys, or somewhere in the sunshine with a good music playlist.
"I love my work as a birth worker, it's incredibly rewarding. When it's time to unwind though, my favorite place to do so is with my boys. There is nothing better than soaking in all of life's precious moments with my family. Parenting is hard, and the days can be long...but oh are the years are so short. These boys have pushed me to be a better, more patient person, mother, wife, friend, and birth worker."
